Great Day on Kangaroo Island

Two koalas are responsible for my best day on Kangaroo Island.

I was having an afternoon coffee at Vivonne Bay before driving to the National Park. A koala with a baby on its back scampered across the nearby road and shimmied up a small tree just a few metres from me. I spent so long trying for a good shot of the koalas amongst the many branches that I decided to drive to the NP the next day. The next morning, I met Laura and Martin as they looked up at the same koalas. They are both photographers, and were headed to the NP, so we travelled together, photographing seals, kangaroos, scenery and each other until they headed off the next morning.

It was a great day!
